Returns and Refunds
We at "Theory of Eden" want you to have a fulfilling shopping experience with us and will gladly accept returns and replace goods within 15 days from the date of delivery, on the following conditions –
- You ordered an incorrect size (only applicable for apparel and footwear)
- You received an incorrect product
- You received a defective/faulty product
Products must be unused, unworn, unwashed and undamaged by you and must have all the original tags attached. Returns that are damaged or soiled may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer. Products are defective/faulty only if they are received in a damaged condition.
Please note, that we try to make every effort to display the product colours and sizes as accurately as possible on our website, but colour of the products displayed on your monitor may vary with the actual product depending on your monitor's resolution. Only in special circumstances, will we entertain returns/exchanges for products that you feel look very different from the images displayed on the website.
Where possible and if you wish, we will exchange the faulty product(s) or the incorrect size.
If you wish to return an item and do not want an exchange, we shall refund you the amount (minus the original shipping charges) totalling the value of the product(s) that you have returned, via an in-store coupon code with a 6 months validity. The code will be sent to your registered e-mail within 7 days of processing the return.
Please note that each order will be entertained for a return/exchange only one time.
Please notify us within 48 hours of receiving your parcel in order to initiate the returns. Please include the following information when e-mailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org –
- Your order number.
- Name of product(s) to be returned along with the product number (the SKU).
- Reason for return/exchange (in case you want an exchange, please include the size that you wish to process the exchange with).
1. To initiate the return, please prepare your return package in the original box if you still have the same, or in a sturdy box or plastic bag of appropriate size and seal it tightly and securely with cellophane tape. If you are returning a fragile item, please wrap it in newspaper and bubble wrap before packing it securely in a cardboard box. Once you have securely packed the item(s), please inform us of the approximate weight and dimensions (length, breadth, height) of the package.
2. Please notify us when you are ready with your return package to enable us to have the package collected from you and shipped back to us.
3. We will send you a Returns Form (in pdf format) which you will have to print out, fill up and enclose within the package being returned. Alternately, you can e-mail us with a scan of the filled in returned form or with all the details.
4. We will also send you a declaration and an airway bill (both in pdf format). You must print out three (3) copies of both and sign the declaration. Please attach one set of the declaration and airway bill on the outside of the package and hand another set to the courier person. Please keep the third set (after obtaining signature of the courier person) as proof of shipment. OR
5. If you cannot print out the airway bill, please inform us, as there are heavy penalties incurred with hand generated shipping bills. In such a case, please ship the parcel via your own postage means to the following address -

We will reimburse you with the shipping charges (maximum Rs. 100) via an in-store coupon code sent to your e-mail.
Please do not ship anything out without informing us first. Please make sure to return all the contents of the product as was delivered to you. If shipping the package yourself, please inform us of the tracking code, if any.
We will process your returns within 7 business days after receipt of the returned package and after verifying that everything is in order. As stated above, your refund will be delivered to you in the form of a coupon code that will be sent to your registered e-mail and will have a validity of 6 months which you can use to make a purchase on the site.
Please note, that the following products are non-returnable and non-refundable.
- Any custom made orders.
- Any couture apparel orders.
- Goods bought during sales or using discount/offer coupons.
- Innerwear, Lingerie or Swimwear.
- Jewellery such as nose rings and earrings.
- Hair accessories.
You may cancel an order within 12 hours of your purchase. You can do so by writing to us at email@example.com. The cancellation will come into effect within 24 hours and a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you. If we receive a cancellation notice and the order has not been packed or shipped by us, we shall cancel the order and refund the entire amount to you. In such an event you will be refunded with the entire amount within 15 days.
If we have already shipped the order by the time you decide to cancel, please immediately notify us by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will try to stop the delivery, but if it is delivered to you, please receive the order upon delivery. We will initiate a Return process and will e-mail you the forms. The refund issued in such a case (when we receive your e-mail to cancel the order prior to delivery) will be processed to your bank account.
Occasionally we may have to cancel your order due to discrepancies in stock or quality of the product, or because either our logistics partner cannot deliver to the address provided or we could not confirm the authenticity of the order. In such a case, we will inform you of our reasons and you will be refunded with the entire billed amount.
