Is it safe to shop at “Theory of Eden”?
Yes it is. All the online transactions on our website are secure, so shop without worries.
Do I need to set up an account to place an order?
You can shop and checkout from your cart at Theory of Eden as a guest. However there are many benefits to creating an account, such as -
- receiving promotion and discount codes
- getting the latest information on product launches
- keeping track of all your orders, including the ability to track your shipment
- A made to order product: we may only make the product listed if we receive an enquiry about it. In such cases, products may differ slightly from those pictured.
- Unavailability: We may be waiting to refill the stock for the product.
- Our warehouse is unable to dispatch orders for the time-being.
Are the towels on your website safe and hygienic to use?
Absolutely! We source our towels, fabrics and linens from trusted suppliers. All our towels are washed once before being packaged for delivery. However, we still recommend that you wash all towels before use.
Can I have my name or initials customised on towels and table napkins?
We will introduce this option very soon and you will be the first to know when you sign up for an account on our website and/or subscribe to our newsletter. Please note that customised items may take longer to dispatch and the estimated time of dispatch and delivery will be stated on the individual product page.
What if I want to buy more than the quantity available?
Sometimes we may receive products from our vendors but aren't able to immediately update stock numbers on our eStore. In case you wish to purchase more than the quantity available, please e-mail us at email@example.com with your product needs and we'll be happy to check and revert back to you.
I recently saw a product on your website, but currently, only a variation of the same product seems to be available. Why is this so?
As most of our products are handcrafted, no two products will be the same. Think of each product as a completely exclusive one made just for you!
Please note that we will always display product images on the website to reflect the product available in stock.
The colour/design of the product I received does not match with the image of the product I ordered. Why?
We make every effort to display the true colours and design of a product on our website. However it may appear slightly different due to monitor/screen resolutions or because of the usage of too much flash during photography.
Further, as most of the products featured on our website are handcrafted, there will be some variation with thread/cloth colours and exact designs will not always be replicated on two products of the same type.
If you aren't entirely happy with your order, write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll initiate an exchange or a refund process. (Please note that all refunds will be of the value of the product and will be issued as a coupon code for in-store use).

What payment methods can I use to shop?
Our payment gateway accepts all major credit and debit cards and supports net banking option. You can also pay using PayPal.
Alternately, you can also pay using cash on delivery (for orders under Rs. 5,000) or via a bank transfer. Contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org to know more about how you can make payments via a bank transfer.
Why is there a limit on Cash on Delivery Payment?
Due to the recent regulations undertaken by the government, we have decreased the limit for Cash on Delivery to under Rs. 5,000. We kindly request you to use denominations of Rs 10, Rs. 20, Rs. 50 and Rs. 100 from the current circulation and where possible, denominations of Rs 500 and Rs. 2000 from the new circulation. Our courier partners will not accept denominations of the now discontinued Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes. We thank you for your co-operation and patience.
What are your shipping methods and charges?
We use reliable courier services and will provide you with a tracking number so you can keep an eye on your order. In case you have any queries concerning your order, please write to us on email@example.com.
Currently, our flat shipping charges are Rs. 100/- for orders below Rs. 3000/-.
Do you deliver internationally?
At the moment, we only ship orders to addresses in India. Stay tuned as we are working on delivering internationally and will introduce the option shortly.
Why was my order cancelled?
Though extremely rare and while we always strive to keep an account of the correct stock and conduct regular quality checks for all products, we may find discrepancies in these when an order has been placed which may prompt us to cancel your order.
Occasionally, we may have to cancel an order either because our logistics partners cannot deliver to the address provided or in case we cannot confirm the authenticity of the order.
In such cases, where you have prepaid for the order, we will refund you with the entire amount either back to your debit/credit card or to your bank account.
